Yesterday, Clarke High School hosted our College & Career Fair, giving Clarke and Murray students the chance to explore future opportunities with many colleges and businesses! Students took part in a variety of breakout sessions, including interview skills, volunteer opportunities, collegiate athletics, and an interview panel featuring Clarke alumni. They also had the chance to visit the ORBIT Center or volunteer at Cross Ministries and the Animal Shelter.
We’re so grateful to all the businesses, colleges, staff, and community members who gave their time to make this valuable experience possible for our students!

Today in Mr. Pate’s History class, students stepped back in time for a public forum debate! Taking sides as Federalists and Anti-Federalists, they passionately argued whether the Constitution should be accepted.

Last Thursday, students put their genetics knowledge to the test with a fun, hands-on clay activity! Each group received a set of “genetic instructions” to create their very own unique clay creature — and their creativity and teamwork shined through in every design.

Clarke High School students visited Graceland University last week to explore what a private college can be like. Students provided impromptu performances in their Auditorium, toured their arts and sciences buildings, learned about their unique housing system, and got to check out their brand new weight-lifting facility for student athletes.
🏰✨ 4D went back in time to the Medieval Ages! Students wrapped up their CKLA unit with a fun, hands-on castle project! Working with partners, they designed castles from a shared floor plan and used their math skills to calculate the area of each room. The creativity and teamwork were incredible as they constructed and named their castles. What a fantastic way to connect math and history—awesome work, 4D!
