Dear Clarke Families,
We are working diligently to create our district’s “Return to Learn” plan. This plan, required by the Iowa Department of Education will address issues such as health and safety, social-emotional needs, academics, and equity when we return to school in August. As part of this preparation, we are asking families to complete two surveys to help guide us in our planning.
The first is a survey from the Iowa Department of Education related to technology access for your household. This information will help in planning for next school year, should learning from home need to occur because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage you to complete this survey so your technology barriers are known to the State, who is working with other state agencies on providing assistance to school districts in ensuring all families have adequate access to technology. This survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete. You should only include students who will be in grades preschool through twelfth grade, or participating in post-secondary education, during the 2020-21 school year.
The second survey relates to your family’s needs and/or concerns as we head back to school. The information from this survey will be used to help us determine how best to serve your needs and provide support to you and your family now, and throughout next school year. This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
You have, or will soon, receive both surveys, with a return envelope, in the mail. However, if you would prefer to complete these surveys online, you may do so. You only need to take the survey one time per household - either using the paper survey or the links below.
