On Monday, our Clarke Elementary students in grades 3-5 had an amazing ISASP parade to celebrate their hard work and dedication as they gear up for their upcoming tests! 📚👏 The younger students cheered on their older peers, showing their support and encouragement. But the excitement doesn't stop there! The younger students are also busy making signs each day to lift the spirits of our testing students. 🎨📣 ¡Ayer, nuestros estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria de Clarke en los grados 3-5 tuvieron un increíble desfile de ISASP para celebrar su arduo trabajo y dedicación mientras se preparan para sus próximos exámenes! 📚👏 Los estudiantes más jóvenes animaron a sus compañeros mayores, mostrándoles su apoyo y aliento. ¡Pero la emoción no termina ahí! Students in Mrs. Miller’s class applied their learning of emotions and thinking of others when they made valentines for patients at St. Jude’s Hospital! ¡Los estudiantes de la clase de la Sra. The 5th and 6th grade winter band concert is on December 7th in the high school auditorium. The band students need to arrive at 6:30 for warm-up. They will meet in the sixth-grade band room. The concert will start at 7:00 pm. Admission is free to the public. El concierto de banda de invierno de 5º y 6º grado será el 7 de diciembre en el auditorio de la escuela secundaria. Ladies and Lords! The 5th Grade Choir proudly presents Madrigal Dinner 2023. This night of singing and laughter will be Friday, December 15th at 5:30 pm at the Clarke Elementary Gym. This night will consist of sweet desserts, hot apple cider, and a fun play featuring the 5th Grade Choir students. Tickets can be acquired from Miss Minnick via email. Make sure to hurry though, as we have limited seating! Free Will donations will be accepted at the door if you feel led to do so! ¡Damas y Caballeros! BOXTOPS: Clarke Elementary Student Council is doing a BoxTop challenge for the month of October! This will be a competition between classrooms and it is to raise money for the Student Council to be able to continue fun activities for our students. The classroom with the most BoxTops scanned at the end of the month will get to have a glow party! Please see the attached flyer explaining how to earn BoxTops using the BoxTops app. If you do not have a specific classroom or would just like to donate receipts, you are more than welcome to drop off receipts at the Elementary School Office and we will submit them. Clarke Community School District is celebrating Fire Prevention Week beginning on October 2nd! Elementary students will participate in the Fire Education Trailer through the Osceola Fire Department and Clarke County Emergency Management. Secondary students will participate in a fire drill to make sure every student and staff member feels prepared in case of a fire! The Osceola Fire Department is hosting the 29th Fire Fair on Thursday, October 5th from 5:30-8:00 pm at the fire station. Hope to see you there!
