The American Legion Post 69 proudly announced the winners of the 5th-grade essay contest on the topic, "What the American Flag Means to Me" at today's Veterans Day assembly. Congratulations to Bianca Guerrero-Escareno, Jase Manternach, and Bella Avalos for their thoughtful and inspiring essays. A special shoutout to Bianca, whose essay will advance to the state competition. Great job to all!
