Several Clarke juniors participated in SWCC’s annual CTE Day learning about education and careers in welding, auto, healthcare, information technology, electrical technology, ag, and construction.



CLARKE CYBER DEFENSE TEAM RESULTS:
Practice Round complete! For this final scrimmage-style round before official rounds begin, team members competed in mixed-level groups (MS & HS) to make the most of the experienced team member's knowledge.
The scores below indicate the amount of available points scored per virtual image. These scores are AMAZING considering only an hour was spent on each one. During a scored competition, they can spend up to 6 hours on each image if they need to!

Clarke Archery Club first practice will be Tuesday, October 16th from 7-8:30 pm on the middle school stage. Enter through the middle school gyms doors on the West side of the building.

Supreme Court Justice Edward M. Mansfield visited Mr. Matthess' Government classes on Wednesday to discuss his role in state government and to answer questions. He was appointed to the Iowa Court of Appeals in 2009, and his current term expires on Dec. 31, 2020.

Forty-five Clarke Seniors spent the past two days during English class applying to college, creating Iowa workforce development accounts, applying for jobs, or investigating the military. These two got accepted to Indian Hills! Thanks to our partners at SWCC, Val White and Zach Woods, for joining us during the event and helping Clarke Staff meet our students’ individual planning needs. -Mrs. Scott, School Counselor
